What We Do.
Canvas Engineering provides independent, third-party, product-agnostic helical pile engineering in direct support of helical pile contractors and distributors.
We act as an extension of your team - reviewing bid documents, developing preliminary pile designs and engineering fees for tender, producing stamped shop drawings after award, and providing construction-phase support and post-installation conformity reporting.
We do not manufacture, supply, or install helical piles - allowing us to support projects using any helical pile manufacturer or installer without bias.

Q: Do you supply helical piles?
A: No. We are an engineering-only firm
Q: Do you perform load testing on helical piles
A: No. We do not perform load testing on helical piles, however, we CAN design load test frames, and come up with a project specific load test procedure specific to your project that is aligned with best-engineering practices and ASTM pile load testing standards.
Q: Can I use your design with any supplier?
A: YES! While pile manufacturer’s often use different steel materials, shaft and helix sizes, we can customize each deliverable to be either generic (e.g. for an RFP) or custom-tailored to meet a specific pile manufacturer’s exact specifications. The choice is yours.
